Join a powerful network of Regional Leaders

Now in its ninth year, the Waterford Chamber Regional Leaders Programme launches on September 19th, and bookings are open now for all future leaders of the region.

According to Gerald Hurley, CEO Waterford Chamber, “The Regional Leaders programme has gone from strength to strength, adapted and changed based on the feedback of our participants and leaders.

“This programme is aimed at professionals who want to develop their leadership competencies and will benefit companies seeking to increase the capacity of their internal talent pool. With mentors and coaches from across a multitude of sectors, participants benefit from 1:1 sessions, panel discussions, and extensive networking opportunities as well as inspiring monthly events.

“We also have a number of new leaders joining us this year, who have a wealth of experience and are excited to share their skills and knowledge with the participants. Ultimately this programme is designed by the business community for the business community and we now have an alumni of over 700 people. That is an incredibly powerful network of business leaders who will be to the forefront of the economic development of our city and region in the years to come.

INCREDIBLE VALUE
“Thanks to the funding support of Waterford Chamber Skillnet, the cost of this programme has been reduced from €395 to just €296 pp, making this programme the best value for money in terms of leadership development training. This programme is supported by Bausch + Lomb and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Ireland Chapter.

Meanwhile, Tommie Ryan, Network Manager at Waterford Chamber Skillnet, outlines the programme. “This year, the format is simple – you arrange your one-to-one sessions at a time that suits you. Each participant will work with at least two programme leaders throughout the programme who are matched based on your own leadership journey. You will attend live events each month, designed to develop leadership skills and characteristics, where you will have the opportunity to broaden your network of business contacts at each event.

“We have also brought together some fantastic leaders and entrepreneurs for our panel discussion events, which will focus on leadership and personal development.”

So who is the programme for? In essence, anyone in business. CEOs, CFOs, entrepreneurs, start-ups, middle and senior managers have all taken part – it’s about inspiring future leaders, sharing knowledge and information and creating a powerful business network across the region.
