Waterford City & County Council signs contracts for Splashworld energy upgrades
On Wednesday, December 17th, Waterford City and County Council signed contracts with construction consultants, Rogerson and Reddan Ltd., who following a competitive procurement process were appointed as lead design team for energy upgrades at Splashworld, Tramore. The works, due to start in November 2026, will include a full decarbonisation of the building with the removal of gas fire heating which will be replaced with air-sourced heat pumps.
